3. Conciseness 간결성
Most well-written business letter and documents are concise.
훌륭한 서신이나 문서 대부분은 간결합니다.

Keep your words as brief as possible and don't beat around the bush.

Always take people's emotions into account, so that your writing is not callus or insensitive.

I'm often confused between the words fair and just.
저는 종종 fair 와 just 의 의미가 헷갈립니다.
- fair : 공평, justice: 공정.
What is exactly difference between them?
두 단어의 정확한 차이는 뭐죠?
Many people use the two words interchangeably.
두 단어를 바꿔 사용하는 사람들이 많은데요.
- interchangeably: 교체할 수 있는, 교환할 수 있는
But there's a fundamental difference between the two.
사실 두 단어 사이에는 본질적인 차이가 있습니다.
- fundamental difference A and B : A와 B 사이의 핵심적인/본질적인 차이 (뭔가 있어보이는 표현^^)
Fairness, to be fair is subjective and Justice, to be just is objective.
공평성은 주관적인 반면, 공정성은 객관적입니다.
- subjective : 주관적인
- objective : 객관적인, 편견이 없는
Fair is being equal to everyone, treating everyone exactly the same way.
공평성은 누구나 똑같은 방식으로 공평하게 대하는 것입니다.
Just means acting in a way that is morally right.
공정성은 도덕적으로 올바르게 행동하는 것입니다.

Allow me to paint a picture in your mind as an example.

What is just is providing each person what they need in order to be satisfied.

In another case, it might be fair to send a thief to jail.
또 다른 예로, 어떤 도둑을 감옥에 보내는 게 공평할 겁니다.
But if judge who is just might let him go free, if the thief shows honest remorse.
하지만 판사가 정당하다면, 도둑이 진정으로 참회한다면 석방시켜줄 수 있을 겁니다.
