[Context]

As a quickly review from yesterday, 'how about' usually suggests something,

어제 내용을 잠시 복습하자면, how about은 뭔가 제안할 때 쓰는 표현이고,

'what about' commonly refers to an object or implys potetial problems.

what about은 보통 반대의견을 나타내거나 잠재적 문제를 말합니다. 

- refer to: 언급하다, 말하다

- imply: 암시하다 

However there are times when both expressions can have equivalent meaning. 

하지만 이 두 표현이 똑같은 의미를 지닐 때가 있습니다. 

- equivalent: 동등한, 맞먹는 

They can be used in the exactly same context.

다시 말해 두 표현이 정확히 같은 의미로 사용될 수 있다는 거죠.

- in other words : 달리 말해서

What is the difference between "How about" and "What about"?
How about과 What about의 차이는 뭔가요?

Well, they are similar in many ways, there are some distinctive contexts where they must be used differently.
여러면에서는 비슷하지만, 몇몇 독특한 문맥에서는 분명 다르게 사용될 수 있어요.
  - distinctive: 독특한, 특이한

The prime difference is this.;
핵심적인 차이는 이겁니다.
  - the prime difference: 핵심적인/주요한 차이

"How about" is commonly used to suggest something,  whereas "What about" refers to a potential problem.
 how about은 일반적으로 뭔가 제안할 때 쓰는 표현이고, what about은 잠재적인 문제를 언급할 때 쓰는 표현이죠.
  -wheareas: 반면에   (두가지 사실을 비교, 대조할 때 씀) (=but, however)

'How about' examples;
how about의 예입니다.

I'm free on Sunday. How about going to a movie?
일요일에 시간 되는데, 영화보러 가는거 어때요?

=Let's go watch a movie.
그건 영화보러 갑시다는 뜻입니다.

How about we take a breather and continue in 15 minutes?

'What about' examples;
what about의 예입니다.

You told Sue to come at 10 o'clock? What about a meeting with our clients?
수에게 10시에 오라고 했어요? 우리 고객미팅은 어쩌자구요?

=We have a meeting with our clients at 10. You can't tell Sue to come at that time.
고객과의 미팅이 10시에 있으니 수에게 그때 오라고 말할 수 없다는 뜻입니다.

In Korean companies, there are often co-workers office gatherings called 회식.
한국에는 회식이라고 불리는 문화가 있습니다.

In other countries where personal life is highly respected these meals or drinking sessions among employees aren't common.
사생활을 중시 여기는 다른 나라에서는 동료들끼리 가지는 이런 식사와 술자리가 드뭅니다.

However there are par for the course in Korea.
하지만 한국에서는 굉장히 흔합니다.

The atmosphere among workers becomes friendlier when they drink together.

한 남자가 부인이 밤에 자기의 주머니를 뒤진다는 이유로

(법원으로부터)이혼허가를 얻어냈다는 내용이었다.

"너 그걸 집사람한테 보여줄 거야?"그 친구가 물었다.

"아니,"그 농부가 대답했다. "그냥 내 주머니 속에 넣어둘 거야."

[Stories]

Once upon a time, there was a mountain climber who was desperate to conquer the Aconcagua. But he wanted the glory to himself, so he went up there alone.
옛날에 아콩카과산(남미 안데스 산맥 중 최고봉)을 오르기를 갈망한 한 등반가가 있었다. 그는 영광을 혼자 차지하고 싶었기 때문에 혼자 산을 올랐다.

He started climbing and it was getting late. He did not prepare for camping but decided to keep on going. It soon dark, everything was pitch dark.
산을 오르기 시작했고, 점점 늦어졌다. 캠핑 준비를 해오지 않았지만 계속 오르기로 결심했다. 날이 금방 어두워졌고, 칠흑같이 깜깜해졌다.

As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. He kept falling, he thought he would die. Nevertheless, he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half, YES! Like any good mountain climber he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist. He had no choices but to shout, "Help me God! Help me."
정상에서 100미터쯤 떨어진 산등성이를 올랐을 때, 그는 미끄러져 떨어졌다. 계속해서 떨어지면서, 그는 이젠 죽었다고 생각했다. 그런데, 거의 몸이 절반으로 찢길 것 같은 충격을 느꼈다, 그래 됐어! (아마도 떨어지다가 어디에 부딪혔고 몸을 지탱할 만한 곳을 발견한 듯 합니다- 글리 주)  훌륭한 등반가가 그러하듯, 그는 긴 밧줄로 허리를 감싸서 묶었다. 선택의 여지가 없었기에 소리 쳤다. "신이시여, 도와주세요."

All of a sudden he heard a deep voice from heaven.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Save me."
"Do you REALLY think that I can save you?"
"Of course my God."
"Then cut the rope that is holing you up."
갑작스럽게도, 그는 하늘에서 울리는 목소리를 들었다.
"내가 무엇을 해주길 원하느냐?"
"절 구해주세요."
"내가 정말로 널 구할 수 있다고 생각하느냐?"
"그럼요."
"그럼 지금 묶고있는 그 밧줄을 자르거라."

There was another moment of silence and stillness. Why should he trust God and cut the rope at His Word? The man held tighter to the rope. The rescue team says that the next day they found, a frozen mountain climber hanging strongly to a rope, just two feet off the ground.

You should leave the impression that you can work well with people and handle complex in a mature way.
사람들과 원만하게 일하고, 갈등을 성숙하게 처리한다는 인상을 주어야 합니다.

To a potential employer, no questions mean no interest.

If you simply do your research, it is one of the easiest questions to pass with flying colors.

Just know the basics. ; company history, locations, divisions and its mission statements.

6. Making up answers 답변꾸미기 

If you don't know the answer to a question, just be upfront about it.

질문에 답을 모르면, 그냥 솔직하게 말하세요.

Don't pretend to know and make a fool out of yourself. 

아는체하거나 바보짓하지 마세요.

But do tell the interviewer as to how you will seek to find the answer.
