11. 24 Talk about a time when you got caught in the rain
비 맞은 때를 이야기해봅시다.
On most days I check the weather forecast.
대개 일기예보를 확인합니다.
However onetime the forecast betrayed me.
그런데 한번은 예보가 배신했다.
It said that It would be no rain.
비가 오지 않는다고 했다.
As a result, I didn't have an umbrella on me.
그래서 우산을 가지고 나가지 않았다.
ex: I don't have any cash on me. 현금이 하나도 없다.
As I was walking out of the subway station, began to drizzle.
지하철을 나왔을 때 비가 살짝 내리기 시작했다.
Soon it was pouring.
곧 퍼붓기 시작했다.
I had to run home at top speed.
최대한 빨리 집으로 뛰어갔다.
When I got home, I was soaking wet.
집에 도착했을 때 홀딱 젖었다.
My shoes were ruined.
신발이 다 젖어버렸다.
Right away I took a hot shower.
바로 뜨거운 물로 샤워를 했다.
However I still came down with a cold because I got caught in the rain like that.
하지만 비를 그렇게 맞아서 감기에 걸렸다.
I had a sore throat, I was aching all over.
목이 아팠고 몸살이 났다.
Since then I always keep a small umbrella in my bag.
그 뒤로 늘 우산을 가지고 다닌다.
